Vessel Walkthrough & Accommodations
Board vessel via swim platform then through transom door or over cockpit bulwarks into the 60 square foot cockpit which is thoroughly equipped with all of the fishing equipment you could ask for. Amidships is a tackle storage/sink/work/bait station directly behind the helm which is also amidships. There is seating for six in the helm area including the captain's chair. The helm deck mechanically raises for engine access and there is also a day hatch to check the engines. Up six rungs on the tower leads to the upper helm with full controls. Forward via the side decks to the foredeck are hand rails and the ground tackle/windlass. Below decks one is surprised by the large size of the air conditioned cabin, sleeping room for 4, and seemingly unending storage compartments.

This is a simple and nicely designed salon with sleeping arrangements for four, along with a galley & head. Teak wood is present throughout the cabin. To starboard is a bench with a nice table, which can be removed or swung on it's angled bracket. Forward is a large berth which will easily accommodate two. Centerline aft is the galley with countertop, refrigerator(reported not working), corian sink and microwave. Aft and to port is the head with shower. Back of the salon area is a nice tall storage cabinet setup as a rod locker. The electrical panel is easily accessible in the salon. Plenty of storage for safety gear, rods and tackle round out the Salon of the Pursuit Offshore 3000. There is a vertical storage locker between the galley and head area, rod storage forward under the front berth, storage under the bench seating to the starboard, and cabinets throughout the cabin.

Why you should use a Buyer's Broker
With the rise of the Internet and yacht sales sites like Yachtworld and Boat Trader, many boat shoppers feel that they can do all the research and work through the process of completing a sale by themselves, and have no need for a buyer's broker. Many people falsely believe that they can get a better deal by going directly to the selling broker. A selling broker would always like you to think that because it gives them a bigger commission, but the truth is that a selling broker foremost represents the seller, and always wants the highest price possible for the boat. Below I will provide you with the top 8 reasons why you are best served by using a buyer's yacht broker.
1) It costs you nothing. The buyer's broker gets his pay by splitting the sales commission when a boat is sold. The buyer's broker takes all the risk, investing his time, effort, and usually a lot of gas to view boats and work with you. If you decide not to buy a boat after looking for a while the buyer's broker gets no pay. There is no risk to you.
2) The selling broker may be a very nice guy/gal, quick with a joke and knowledgeable about yachts, but remember they already have an established relationship with the seller. They may be friends at the local yacht club or fishing buddies. Legally they can still represent both the buyer and seller, but which relationship do you think will be more valued? Yes, the selling broker wants the deal to close, but he will always be trying to get the most money possible for the seller, that's his job.
3) Brokers tend to be more honest about a boat's condition with other brokers. This can save you a lot of time when shopping, because a selling broker always wants to show his boat, and will be quick with euphemisms like 'needs a little TLC' with potential buyers. Brokers develop relationships with each other and it's easier for us to get the straight facts on a vessel before making the effort to drive and see a boat.
4) A buyer's broker can save you money! Unlike real estate where the selling prices of homes are a matter of public record and can easily be found online by anyone, only Yacht Brokers can access sold boat prices. We can establish comparable boat sold prices to help you negotiate the lowest price for the vessel you are planning to buy......Now, this is where someone always points out "the buyer's broker is getting paid on commission, so he doesn't want a lower price". That's not true, because as a Yacht broker I split my commissions with the brokerage firm, and as a buyer's broker the commission is also split with the selling brokerage firm. The end result is about a 2% commission, which means that saving you $5000 on the price of a boat only means $100 difference in my commission. That's not a lot of incentive, I have far more incentive to prove that I am working directly for you to get the best price so that you send me future business through a recommendation to your friend. Future business is worth a lot more to me than a couple of hundred dollars in extra commission on this one deal.
5) Florida and California Yacht Brokers are licensed and bonded. We've been finger printed, background checked, and have a bond on record. We have ethical standards that we uphold and are required by law to do so. Because we are licensed and bonded, you always have recourse in these two states if you feel you have been treated wrongly.
6) A buyer's broker brings a lot of knowledge to the table. You may have owned and used boats in the past and be a knowledgeable buyer, but most yacht brokers get into this business after an extensive marine background. For example I've worked as a Navy electrician, civilian marine electrician, worked for a boat builder, and spent many years working as a professional Captain. Also my wife and I spent almost 10 years living aboard boats full time and cruising. This sort of background can be very useful to most buyers when determining which type of boat will best suit your intended use.
7) Another set of eyes when inspecting potential Yachts. Because of #6, we can provide valuable input when inspecting potential boats. 49' Hyundai 3 Cabin, Aft Deck, Flybridge Motoryacht, Offered for $135,000

Most people are not aware that Hyundai is the world’s largest shipbuilder, building over 15% of the entire commercial fleet. Between 1988 and 1990 they completed about 100 hulls of the 49’ Motor Yacht. Because of poor timing with the luxury tax and recession in the U.S., Hyundai sold the unfinished hulls which were later completed by other builders. MARY B is one of the last yachts officially completed by the original shipyard and the only one to feature a third cabin. This is significant because the later models completed by the Hyundai yard were known to be of much higher quality than the early models. With their extensive resources Hyundai engineered and crafted a luxury vessel with a build quality far above its peers and with accommodations usually only found on much larger yachts.
With their deservedly great reputation, the twin Caterpillar 375 H.P. 3208 TA engines push the MARY B along efficiently at up to 18 knots. The 12 kw Northern Lights generator along with 3 separate reverse cycle A/C units, washer/dryer, central vacuum system, and more provide all the comforts of home while at anchor or traveling.
Vessel Walkthrough and Accommodations
The spacious aft cabin owner’s stateroom features a centerline true California King bed with new mattress, an abundance of storage, and ensuite head with a Jacuzzi tub. Up three steps and you enter the airy and comfortable salon with lower helm station featuring 6’ 8” headroom and plenty of light from the wraparound windows/windshields. Continuing forward and down 3 steps to starboard is the open and fully equipped galley with full size fridge/freezer, convection microwave, and stove top. To port is the guest cabin with upper and lower berths. Under the steps down to the galley is the door providing access to the engine room with near standing headroom. Continuing forward is the VIP stateroom with centerline Queen berth and attached forward head. Aft of the salon and up three steps is the large aft deck fully enclosed with canvas/isinglass and covered with a hard top. This large, open area makes a perfect location for entertaining or just enjoying the scenery. Wing doors on port and starboard provide full and wide walk-around access to the foredeck. Up the steps from the aft deck is the comfortable flybridge with ample seating and a new bimini top. The dinghy is stored aft of the flybridge on the hardtop of the aft deck and is lowered with an electric davit. The space, quality, and accomodations are comparable to a Hatteras Motoryacht of the same size and vintage but at half the price, simply because Hyundai is not a household name.
Salon:
The salon is large and open affording excellent visibility and light coming from the wraparound windows and windshields. Entrance from the aft deck is through a pair of swinging teak doors and with an elegant brass handrail. A settee and double swivel chairs provide plenty of seating along the beautiful teak hi-lo table and the salon features almost 7 feet of headroom. There is a private door from this cabin to the head which is offset to port and also acts as a day head with a separate door to the forward galley area.
Guest Stateroom:

Another of the great features onboard MARY B is the wonderful aft deck. Most people are not aware that Hyundai is the world’s largest shipbuilder, building over 15% of the entire commercial fleet. Between 1988 and 1990 they completed about 100 hulls of the 49’ Motor Yacht. Because of poor timing with the luxury tax and recession in the U.S., Hyundai sold the unfinished hulls which were later completed by other builders. MARY B is one of the last yachts officially completed by the original shipyard and the only one to feature a third cabin. This is significant because the later models completed by the Hyundai yard were known to be of much higher quality than the early models. With their extensive resources Hyundai engineered and crafted a luxury vessel with a build quality far above its peers and with accommodations usually only found on much larger yachts.
With their deservedly great reputation, the twin Caterpillar 375 H.P. 3208 TA engines push the MARY B along efficiently at up to 18 knots. The 12 kw Northern Lights generator along with 3 separate reverse cycle A/C units, washer/dryer, central vacuum system, and more provide all the comforts of home while at anchor or traveling.
Vessel Walkthrough and Accommodations
The spacious aft cabin owner’s stateroom features a centerline true California King bed with new mattress, an abundance of storage, and ensuite head with a Jacuzzi tub. Up three steps and you enter the airy and comfortable salon with lower helm station featuring 6’ 8” headroom and plenty of light from the wraparound windows/windshields. Continuing forward and down 3 steps to starboard is the open and fully equipped galley with full size fridge/freezer, convection microwave, and stove top. To port is the guest cabin with upper and lower berths. Under the steps down to the galley is the door providing access to the engine room with near standing headroom. Continuing forward is the VIP stateroom with centerline Queen berth and attached forward head. Aft of the salon and up three steps is the large aft deck fully enclosed with canvas/isinglass and covered with a hard top. This large, open area makes a perfect location for entertaining or just enjoying the scenery. Wing doors on port and starboard provide full and wide walk-around access to the foredeck. Up the steps from the aft deck is the comfortable flybridge with ample seating and a new bimini top. The dinghy is stored aft of the flybridge on the hardtop of the aft deck and is lowered with an electric davit. The space, quality, and accomodations are comparable to a Hatteras Motoryacht of the same size and vintage but at half the price, simply because Hyundai is not a household name.
Salon:
The salon is large and open affording excellent visibility and light coming from the wraparound windows and windshields. Entrance from the aft deck is through a pair of swinging teak doors and with an elegant brass handrail. A settee and double swivel chairs provide plenty of seating along the beautiful teak hi-lo table and the salon features almost 7 feet of headroom. 41' PDQ Powercat
This is one of my favorite listings, just reduced to $525,000 an exceptional vessel perfect for East Coast and Caribbean cruising. Whether you are planning to do the Great Loop or head down island, this fast seaworthy and shallow draft yacht will take you there in comfort and style.
"Calypso" is a 2008 model powered by twin Yanmar 260 HP diesel engines with only 310 hours. With a top speed of 25.5 knots, she only consumes 2 GPH at 7.5 knots.
The PDQ 41 has five opening gates that allows for easy access from any point on the vessel. In addition, access by way of the transom steps makes boarding easy regardless of dock height. Forward there are three major storage areas including a standing headroom generator compartment. The yacht is equipped with twin Quick 1000 electric windlasses, 200' of 5/16 HS chain and a Delta type anchor and is also equipped with a second anchor and ground tackle.
The cockpit is an open area, designed for maximum functionality. Engine access is from the cockpit and there are several large deep storage areas accessible . The vessel is equipped with Edison dinghy davits and an electric capstan is installed to make dinghy retrieval a "breeze". The house battery bank is located under the first step to the flybridge for easy access and maintenance.
Direct water and dinghy access is facilitated by the steps built into the port and starboard transoms. A swim ladder and a hot/cold fresh water shower are located on the port transom.
The large flybridge is a masterpiece of functional design and is accessed by a staircase, not a ladder. There are two helm chairs and settee seating for six which makes the flybridge great for entertaining. Entertaining is further enhanced by the outdoor galley including a sink, BBQ grill and refrigerator. The visibility is outstanding for navigation and docking and there is a large open area aft of the seating are which makes a great sun deck. Calypso is equipped with a full flybridge bimini and a complete flybridge cover as well. The flybridge arch and bimini fold down for a bridge clearance of 14 feet.

The PDQ 41 is wired for both 120V and 12V. The electrical control panel is located just to port, as you enter the salon. The vessel is wired with dual 30 shore cables to make power cord handling a little easier.
